Quality Electric LLC, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”, provides residential and commercial electrical services.
By authorizing services from the Company, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.
All proposed services are recommendations and may not represent the only options available to the customer. Prices quoted are valid only at the time of the service visit and are subject to change without notice.
If, for any reason, the person authorizing the work chooses not to proceed or if the work is not completed, payment for all services performed and materials used up to that point is due immediately. Any additional work requested afterward will be charged separately.
Payment is due upon signing of the work authorization or immediately upon completion of services.
Accepted payment methods include:
A minimum fee of $20 applies to returned checks.
Invoices outstanding for more than 60 days will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month. If collection efforts require a collection agency or legal action, the customer agrees to pay all associated collection costs, court fees, and reasonable attorney’s fees.
All labor and materials are deemed satisfactory unless the Company receives written notice within 7 days of job completion.
Any claim for property damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the occurrence. Claims submitted after this period are conclusively waived.
The Company’s liability for non-performance or malfeasance is limited strictly to the amounts paid for the services rendered.
Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays.
Services performed outside regular business hours are considered special business hours and are billed at higher rates.
Due to the nature of electrical services, unforeseen conditions may arise once work has begun.
The customer acknowledges and accepts full financial responsibility for such conditions and understands that obligations for previously agreed-upon work remain in effect. The customer agrees to hold the Company, its heirs, and assigns harmless regarding these circumstances.
If the customer declines replacement of electrical fixtures or components (including outlets, switches, or panels), they acknowledge that repairs or attempts to repair are not guaranteed or warranted.
Inspection or attempted repairs may result in the inability to reassemble the component. Any additional repairs or replacements will be charged separately. The customer accepts full responsibility for all outcomes and costs and holds the Company harmless.
All attempts to diagnose and repair electrical faults are attempts only and are not guaranteed or warranted.
The customer accepts full responsibility for all outcomes and costs and agrees to pay for services rendered regardless of results. The Company is held harmless regarding these services.
During service to electrical panels, circuit breakers, or related components, existing wiring or breakers may be found to be defective or non-compliant with current electrical codes.
The customer accepts responsibility for repair or replacement costs and holds the Company harmless for these pre-existing conditions.
Materials supplied by the customer are not guaranteed or warranted by the Company.
If customer-supplied materials are defective, the agreed installation fee remains due immediately. Any additional labor or services required will be billed separately. The customer holds the Company harmless in all such cases.
Service work may require one or more access openings. Each opening may result in additional cost.
The Company is not responsible for drywall, wall, ceiling, or floor repairs. Access panels may be installed when feasible. The customer holds the Company harmless regarding access-related work.
The customer acknowledges that existing electrical systems may have latent defects or age-related issues and accepts full responsibility for any resulting conditions not caused by the Company’s work.
The customer is advised that electrical work may require upgrading existing wiring or panels to meet current code requirements. The Company will notify the customer of any such requirements before proceeding with the work. The customer accepts responsibility for any decisions made regarding equipment or wiring upgrades.
The Company is held harmless for pre-existing electrical conditions or code violations discovered during service.
Electrical permits may be required for certain types of work. The Company will advise the customer when permits are necessary and will obtain them when included in the agreed scope of work.
Any work performed without required permits at the customer’s request releases the Company from all liability related to code compliance.
Outdoor electrical components are subject to weather, UV exposure, and environmental conditions.
Proper maintenance and protection of outdoor electrical components is the customer’s responsibility unless maintenance services are requested from the Company for an additional cost. No guarantees or warranties apply to outdoor electrical components exposed to extreme weather conditions.
The customer understands that appliances or equipment evaluated may not be repairable.
The agreed diagnostic fee is due regardless of outcome. The customer agrees to hold the Company harmless for any damage resulting from standard diagnostic or repair procedures.
